I am extremely honored to announce another addition to my book tour this weekend (thats my actual tour, as opposed to my blog tour, the main difference being that one requires putting pants on), a party hosted by Moravian Book Shop but actually taking place just down the street at uber cool Underwired Vintage. Its happening this Sunday, the 22nd, from 2-4. This could be my chance to wear those fake eyelashes that have been sitting in my makeup bag since a month before my wedding. I haven't been able to work up the nerve to try to put them on since that horrible day that the adorable makeup artist at Barneys Coop accidentally glued my left eye shut while trying to apply them.

My3 year old daughter was sitting on my lap as I looked at your blog this morning. She immediately says, "Oh, Barbie Girl! Is she a Barbie Girl?" Which is the ultimate compliment, because she believes Barbie is beautiful.
Ha haa haa hee hooo haaaa.......You always have the best stories!
Wear them!! It will be fabulous.
"...accidentally glued my left eye shut while trying to apply them"...?!?!? I mean, seriously, you have the funniest stories, Heather! Thanks for always sharing the laughs. ;-)
YES. she glued my eye shut. In Barneys on 18th street. And I would like to be able to tell you that I did not have what my husband refers to as "one of my nervous meltdowns". But I can't. Because I did. In the end I didn't hire anybody to do my makeup, I asked a friend whose make-up and hair I have always really admired. It worked very well.
