Sample Yardage Has Arrived....

Heres the thing about me. I can't keep secrets. I have huge amounts of respect for the blogger designers who leak out tantalizing bits of information, I really do, but I am not capable of such self control.

Its a good thing that Claudia will be in the studio helping me sew next week because I have major plans for this pile of Far Far Away sample cuts. Still no word on when exactly the goods will be available stateside, but I will let you know when I hear something...

I am so very excited about the fact that Far Far Away will be offered on both a linen/cotton double gauze and a cotton sheeting. Hats off to Kokka, they do such beautiful work! This double gauze is the most perfect fabric for -ahem- a summer blouse perhaps? Here is a peek on how the line looks now.

I've been a big fan of yours for awhile now, but sadly have not even bought a single fat quarter of your fabric! I cannot wait to get my hands on some of this for my girls - so inspiring!

Oh so so pretty and cute and girly without being cutsie! Boy do I see some fussy cut quilt blocks with this stuff in my future. Can't wait to see it live and in person!

Where will we be able to purchase this lovely fabric, and any idea when it will be available for retail purchase?

As the mother of 3 girls, I can't hardly wait for this fabric!

Wow!! I cannot wait to see these fabrics in real life, will HAVE to get the unicorns ones, my daughter's bedroom is in a unicorn theme and I've loved them since a child.

I'm a huge fan of yours, Heather.
I LOVE that unicorn design. It looks so medieval tapestry, and so whimsically fairytale at the same time. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Love all the colors and combos but when I got to the bottom one with the Princess my heart leapt. I can see a summer skirt in my future. Beautiful line!

I love this line too! I can't wait to sew with it. You are such a fantastic artist.

I'm in love! Hate to be a fangirl but you are my favorite designer. I wish I had a bolt each of the Lightning Bugs line so I could unravel all the fabric and do the backstroke in it like Scrooge McDuck until I got tired. Then make some quilts. Yeah.

Heather! I can't wait to get these at the shop!

Those snails are precious! I NEED the princess and the pea because I have a daughter who is particularly sensitive and I always call her the princess and the pea. Cannot wait for these to come out. I recently used the bicycle fabric from your Lightning bugs line and cannot get over how lovely that fabric is, the design and the feel.

These are all wonderful. I think it might be my favorite collection from you. Well it's a toss up between this and Lightening Bugs & Other Mysteries. Those little gnomes get me every time I see them. :)

These are so fantastic!! I can't wait to get ahold of some!

Whenever I see your fabrics in other peoples quilts they really sing a merry tune, so definately looking forward to getting my hands on a few (quite a few) of the above. Hope they won't be too difficult to track down in the UK!

Heather, I'm 53 but this fabric brings out the 7 year old in me. She's gotta get the little princess design! For what, I don't know yet. Absolutely wonderful and happy stuff you make.
