Last Minute Opening for our Upcoming Weekend Workshop at Blueberry Hill Inn! And, I'm Coming to California!

We have an unexpected opening for our August 29 /30 Weekend Workshop at Blueberry Hill Inn! If you have always wanted to spend a weekend in Vermont, sewing in a barn, eating lots of yummy stuff, swimming in a clear mountain lake, and picking blueberries, this is your chance! Denyse Schmidt is our guest teacher and will be leading a very cool improvisational quilting class as part of our weekend. Fun! Please shoot me an email if you would like to attend....

I will be visiting Santa Cruz, California from Sept 2-10th. Come say hello, get your copy of Weekend Sewing signed, and take my skirt pattern class at Harts Fabric on Sept 3rd, or join me for a Mendocino Sundress Workshop at The Crafters Studio on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Why yes, I have wanted to do that in Vermont for a long time - but can't afford to do it on such short notice. I'll certainly be at the next Vermont weekend you have! :D

Is it possible that you'll teach other workshops up in the San Francisco/Berkeley area?

I am oh, so very excited that you are coming to Santa Cruz. When I read that you were coming west I thought for sure you were hitting The City. But you are coming to Santa Cruz! I can't wait to meet you. I have long admired and been jealous of your gorgeous illustration skills and casual easy drawing style. Thanks for coming this way!

I couldn't be more thrilled about your visit to Santa Cruz. And the fact that you will be at Harts makes it just that much more lovely. Have a safe trip!

Sweet! I'll try to make it to Hart's. How fun...wish I could do a class and hang out for awhile but I'll have my 14 month old with me (maybe wearing her far far away smocked sundress) and it's a bit of a drive 'over the hill' to SC. I'll take what I can get. :o) Hope to meet you in September!

Very Cool! Just as I was daydreaming about visiting Vermont......you are actually coming to California. & Santa Cruz is only about 7 hours north away.....but we've got family in the area so it is totally possible. I think we're due for a visit. Hope to see you & join the workshop. :)

So looking forward to your class at Hart's in Santa Cruz! I was stoked to hear from the girls in the shop that you were scheduled, and was the first to sign up. Hope to have fantastic weather waiting for you!

I took this saturday to sew the "flower girl dress" from Weekend Sewing. That was a big pleasure. Your book and patterns are so perfect.

What about planning a winter version of the book ???? That would be so nice and I would like to be the first one to buy!

Good job!
