A Father's Tribute to His Daughters Hair (via NPR)

Sorry for the long pause, I'm still buried under studio sale packages and a few other deadlines. Meanwhile, have you seen this??

I just absolutely love sesame street. They are able to adapt and change depending on the needs of their audience and still maintain a creative and fun show. I just finished reading the history of sesame street called Street Gang. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for this gorgeous post, my children are sadly past Sesame Street age now, so I'd not seen the clip. I have a beyond-beautiful 2yo niece, who was adopted from Ethiopia. My sister-in-law has spent many hours learning how to take care of her amazing hair - I had no idea how much time and effort, and how many tips and tricks were involved! I have forwarded the link to her. Go Sesame Street, thanks for continuing to celebrate everyone's gorgeousness!

I did see this, and thought it was so sweet! What a lucky girl to have such a great Dad!

thanks for sharing this great clip - we havent seen this yet in Australia - one of my 3.5 yr olds (who is up early from her lunch time nap) loves it. she is sitting on my knee asking to watch it again.

there are lots of great photos appearing of your studio parcels arriving at their destinations - lots of ooohs, aahhs and loveliness to admire from the other side of the world.

of to watch the clip again :-)
