Over at Make Grow Gather...

Kelly Wilkinson, dear friend and fellow (ex-patriated) Vermonter, has just introduced a really lovely new series of posts on her blog titled Lazy Summer. I am honored to be her first contributor. I expected to submit a story about Vermont and its painfully short, utterly sacred summers but instead turned in an especially long winded essay about one of New York city's most lovely public spaces. Its up now, and over here.

I love your story, as always you make me feel as though I was there sharing the moment with you!!!

I love your drawing. I instantly knew your story would be about Bryant Park. It's my favorite place in the city! How could you not love it? Perfect grass, cute chairs, a carousel, free yoga classes, wifi & ping pong, even fencing!

Maybe some cute city inspired fabric next?! Wishful thinking ;)

Loved this essay! Thanks for introducing me to a new blog, too (not that I'm looking for any more diversions!!!)
