And yet another update...
Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 04:30PM Thanks to everyone for being so supportive and rallying, it means a whole lot. I just got of the phone with Land of Nod, and I am so pleased to report that they responded to my complaints in a very personal and classy way, very much in line with their brand and general ethos. I am optimistic.

I'm so glad to hear it! I wish you the best of outcomes!
I am so glad they are responding, I'll keep my fingers crossed that there is real and appropriate follow through.
Glad to hear things are looking better! Love all of your artwork!
I am glad it is looking better. I can only imagine how frustrating that is. Hopefully there will be a positive outcome. I know recognition is so important for you as an artist but I hope you also get cash!
I sent an email to LON and also got a response. I hope things are being resolved to your satisfaction. I absolutely hate to think bad things!
Just saw all of this!! OOF so sorry this is happening, but I am so glad to hear things are looking better. SO STRESSFUL and ANNOYING.
Sending good wishes your direction
:)
Oh, yay. Here's hoping they do the right thing. Personal and classy is the way to go!
I have to be honest- I don't think they are very similar at all. If you google "princess and the pea illustration" you will find many equally as similar/different. I'm sure you were their inspiration (which is a bit shady considering you have a relationship with them).
For what it's worth I ADORE yours and think theirs looks boring and generic. They should have paid you and had more of your influence. I may have actually wanted to purchase the set.
assholes? yes
thieves? no
I am glad they are responding in a positive manner. I love your Princess And The Pea design and hope they end up crediting you.
Please keep us posted. I hope you get the recognition and financial compensation you deserve.
I have seen knock offs before and this seems like a generic copy of the princess and the pea fairy tale. I am not sure what the fuss is about. Nobody owns the right to a fairy tale??
