Virtual Sewing Workshop with Liesl Gibson, Anyone?

Liesl in her Brooklyn studioAs anyone who has joined her in Vermont or New York for a Weekend Sewing Workshop knows, Liesl Gibson knows her stuff. Its beyond an honor to have her with us wherever we go, and we know our weekends wouldn't be the same without her. We know that lots of you feel that way too, so we thought you should know about these great series of instructional DVD's that she's been doing with Interweave. There's two so far, one to get you started with the basics and another that's a bit more advanced, tackling seams, closures, and hems.

Now you can park your laptop right next to your sewing machine and take a private lesson with the person who I consider to be the best teacher in the business. Such a great gift idea for a sewist, and so exciting!

And if you like to mix your sewing insturction with rose, afternoon lake swims, and cookies, there is still time to join Liesl and I in Vermont this summer!
