Yesterday on The Martha Stewart show....

here's the clip of my segment, but if you ask me the one you should really watch is the lady with the brownie recipe. They were the best brownies I have EVER eaten. Really.

I just finished watching it.. You and Martha seem like old pals at this point. And I love that Bee's legs were featured on national television (just like her mama's were last time you were on the show). We are pretty close to famous at this point.

Ok, that is seriously clever. I had never even heard of elastic thread! Too much quilting I guess, and not enough clothes sewing. Ok, I can't wait for someone I know to have a little girl! This pattern will definitely be on my list of to do. (And, yes, I too love love the horse pattern. *sigh*)

You did a great job! Love those little diaper covers, just adorable. And I want to see the brownie lady, does she have a link? I've never found a good homemade brownie to beat the box stuff.

I saw it! You were totally cute and I am totally making a pile of those bloomers for my niece who's due in June. I've had bad luck with elastic thread in the past, but you've given me courage to try, try again!

You were AWESOME Heather! And I didn't realize Martha was getting ready to be a grandmother. Fun show! And you look great, too. : )

Loved seeing you and your bloomers (well, not your bloomers exactly) on TV. If you have a girl, I'll make her a pair! Sending much love your way.

Hi Heather,

I don't know if you remember me but I came to your workshop with Denyse in 2009 - I was the woman who was trying to make the sundress for my daughter but the elastic thread never worked on my machine(Emerald - Husqvarna)....we ended up realizing it was the type of elastic thread that was the problem! What is the brand of elastic thread we ended up using?? Thanks so much! I have a 14 week old daughter and I'd love to make some bloomers for her....congrats on your baby to be as well!!!

The diaper covers are precious! My littlest will be walking this summer and I can see him toddling about the backyard in those, chasing his brother :)

thanks for the link to the clip so i can see it now.

my favorite baby gift is my 4sq blanket accompanied by a package of diapers. something practical and something cute, too. i think maybe i should add your bloomers in a fabric from the blanket. very sweet.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I put some pictures up of my blog of the outfit I made Emily using the FFA 1 from my studio sale box if you would like to see. I also wanted to say thanks again. http://ejegmama.blogspot.com/2011/03/more-from-12011.html

Thanks for posting the link. Saved me looking for it after work today. You look super cute with your belly!! I have projects lined up for when I get pregnant and these bloomers are high on the list. I loved them after seeing Film on the Fridge make a whole batch on her blog :)

I taped the show and watched it today! Great segment. They looked super easy to make to make--and quick. Makes me want to get out of my quilting comfort zone and try it. Elastic thread, who knew?? [not me]
